News Just realized my wheel bearing is bad!

    just look at your wheel bearing, if you see a wire coming out of it then you have abs. or look in your fuse box if you have one for abs. mines an LE too but why would the older 7th gen have abs and not the 8th?

    I've never noticed any wire when changing pads or digging through the fuse boxes several times. I guess I don't have ABS. LOL :D

    Just ordered a new hub and bearing. It's going to be 4 days before they even ship it out. ugh...

    u should take ur new hubs to a machine shop and re-drill them in a 5x100 pattern:)

    That would make it PnP for 8th gens too then. :) However, I'm not buying new hubs and wheels just for that. LOL 5 lugs makes no difference.

    Rear disc I might do later when I have money. :D Doesn't Dr. Tweak sell 8th gen rear disc kits?

    yeah. tweaks kits were from celicas too, with redrilled rotor to 4x100. he made the mistake of posting up the DIY on the install and people saw what was needed and just got their own parts.

    Just a note on the ABS discussion. ASB was never intended to reduce braking distance. The purpose of ABS is to allow controlled steering to avoid obstacles or accidents while under full brake.
