aight cool, lets see how it goes
another thing is how you notice the car slanting backwards when you have 4 or 5 people in the car. I might wanna drop the front a lil bit to make it look better but well see. How much would adjustable springs or coilovers cost?

I wouldn't go cheap with the suspension. Save up and change the struts out as well when you lower.

well 215's in the back might be possible but the front is gonna start sticking out.
i have some bad news. one of the rims got a slight bent in em. apparently on my way back somewhere along the way, it hit something, nothing crazy but still, and the tire also got damaged, oh well, its a learning experience. Never go with a 40 profile living in a potholed hell hole like michigan lol

i might get 45 profiled tires and sell the 3 other tires which have like a 1000 miles on em, theyre kumho ecsta AST, anyone interested?

heres a pic of the bent rim

205/45/16 would be the best fit. 50 is still ok, but I like to keep it as close to the stock diameter as possible for accurate speedo readings.

i have a feling 50 might be a lil too much tho, ill see
yea i know bout the 45 being the perfect fit but like i said, ill take a look at the 50 and see how much would it scrape the front, cause i know im gonna need to roll fenders in the back, maybe even with a 45

    thanks
yea i found out this place thatll do it for 50 bucks for me =)

well i didnt really hit anything that was like ouch thats gonna hurt but then, its a whole new style of driving which im getting used to, ima get 45 or 50 profile pretty soon

I'm dropped around 3-3.5 inches all around. :D Once I get a decent coilover suspension, it's going even lower. Trust me. After a while, you'll decide that it just isn't low or aggressive enough.

I'm using OBX coilover springs atm. I'm not too happy with how they perform though and the setup is 6 years old and tired. I think the front left KYB is going out as well. I'm thinking of Ksport or TEIN full coilovers next. :D I need something to keep up with the type of touge driving I do.

Save up and get something made from a more reputable brand name, I wouldn't cheap out on suspension parts unless you like being surprised while your driving.

ok this might be a noob question but as far as suspension upgrades go, what is really needed? especially for a drop
theres springs, struts, coilovers, camber kits, what do they all mean? and how do they work with each other?

i got new struts and springs. didnt need camber kit.

full coilover is like the strut and spring put together but you can fully adjust it.

cheapest way to do it is with ebay coilover springs, but they are a pita to figure them out. they cost like $20 but they suk. so forget i said anything. you can just get lowering springs that will lower your ride and keep it comfortable but you cant adjust the height. if you change out the springs only you can pretty much keep your stock struts. fully adjustable coilovers replace your whole strut and spring assembly with a new setup you can adjust. camber kits just align your tires when you drop you r car, or if you race you can tweak it for track conditions.

honestly, since you asked this question, i would recomend you start of with some lowering springs. then as you gain knowledge about whats out there and how it works then you can move up to the adjustables.

this would be what rollatuner has. just the obx coilover springs. ~$150
    [IMG]

this would be a fully adjustable coilover set which we all want but cost ~$1000 for a good name brand
