    Next President..

Right now its looking like Obama will be the next president of this country. I won't count out McCain just yet but with people being sick and tired of the Republicans most likely he wont get in. So what do you guys think of this? Obama has very limited experience in the government. What sort of President do you think he will make? Who would you like to see in there?

Obama and / or Clinton are going to send this country into the toilet.

There are three evils right now, in order, Clinton, Obama, McCain.

Vote McCain and he may be retarded, but he's no where near as bad as either of the democratic morons.

Exactly. I'm voting Obama. I'm sick of this war which isn't even benefiting us one bit. I see money going out, but not coming in. Look at the US dollar and tell me you think that's good.

    all right,

when it comes to economics McCain has been quoted to say thats not his strong suit... well hmm? The only thing that does to be his strong suit is a prolonged conflict in Iraq and possibly expanding the war to Iran, which without saying is asking for a "suicide". Understand that all potential nominees/candidates are not going to leave Iraq. We can't, if we do we create a vacuum that is either going to be filled by Iran or possibly the Chinese, and I don't want the Chinese controlling oil that american blood has been spilled for. McCain is old, senile, if you call yourself a Republican (Reaganublican or Traditionalist) McCain is neither. McCain claims he can reach across aisles, as can Obama, if not more so than McCain.

I realized that I multi quoted basically every response in this thread, and then came to the realization thats its not worth my time to even respond to some of this drivel.

All I can say is that the some reasons people vote for a certain person is mind boggling to me.

LOL. You just went to BarackObama.com and went down the list and copied each of the "ISSUES" he has on his page.

I could do that with McCain and Clinton as well. Thats NOT a good argument.

    Heres Clintons:
Strenghtening the middle class, providing affordable and accessible healthcare, ending the war in Iraq, promoting energy independence, fighting global warming, improving our schools, fulfilling our promises to seniors and veterans, supporting parents and caring for children, restoring Americas standing in the World, improving women issues, government reform, strenghtening our democracy, reforming our immigration system, creating oppurtunity for rural america, ETC ETC ETC

See? I can copy a list too.

Somehow, I anticipate the Democrats increasing taxes and not really dealing with the illegal immigration issue. A health care system may be worked out, but it sure isn't going to be cheap.

Obama's campaign is nothing but empty rhetoric and pandering to anyone he talks to. Clinton is the same. McCain panders to the Democrats and alienates everyone in his party.

All 3 will raise taxes. McCain isn't trying to force socialized healthcare, but the other two dolts are. All 3 are trying to push "man-made global warming" policies that will annihilate our economy as we know it.

I could go on and on and on and on.

    damn skippy.

i am entirely too disturbed by much of the points these candidates have been making. i really don't know if i'm going to bother with voting.

...it's not like voting really does much, anyway.
