the best comparison i've EVER heard: the EVO is like a scalpel, the STi is like a sledgehammer to the pants. the latter will leave you grinning from ear to ear.

i did see an evo run a quarter mile too fast for the club racing at bandimere the other night, the closest wrx was 2 seconds behind.

ive always loved evos and would probably rather get one.

i believe the official name is "anti-lag" and if i recall, if a cop sees you with that he can impound your car.

Anti-Lag looks cool as hell but the fact it kills your motor and turbo is not that appealing :)

If there's no significant advantage, why do it? You can install the flame thrower exhaust kits for cheaper.

I've always listened to the Super Eurobeat cd's even before initial D. So I have a harder time affiliating eurobeat music to initial d compared to others.. oh well, i still like it more than trance music..

There's no need to turbo. He has the formula atlantic 240 hp race 4A-GE motor in there. That's more than enough to take out any street car. And I thought Takumi got a new car. The Evo his dad used to drive?

no takumi stuck with his ae86. his dad got an impreza... but it was just for the deliveries to show takumi the differences in awd and rwd, and to master 4wheel drift.

which comes back to this thread sti vs evo. sti won... takumis dad chose the sti instead of the evo.

i blast eurobeat all the time when i drive too
