4AGZE/4AFE supercharger

ive got a '93 corolla with a 4AFE in it... ive got a 4AGZE motor i bought a while back that i was planning on putting in it but ive changed my mind... im going to be selling the motor, but before i do... i want to know if the supercharger from the 4agze can fit on my 4afe somehow.... im assuming not since the supercharged motor is low compression. anyone who has the knowledge, let me know. thank ya.

You can Frankenstein it. Swap the heads, pistons, all the internals including the supercharger. Swap the ecu as well. You might need some addition engine management though. That should work and shouldn't cost as much as swapping out the whole motor. If it shouldn't work out and you would like the sell the supercharger I'd like to buy it off you. hehe good luck!

yeah, i would put the whole motor in, but its completely disassembled. i posted a thread for it in the FOR SALE section of corolla-racing.com's message board. i suppose it wouldnt hurt to post it here too. ill copy and paste it if anyone here is interested. ive gotten a few bites on it on the other message board. anyway, here it is:

Ive got a completely disassembled 4agze motor sitting under the stairs in my garage that i would like to get rid of. 4agze motors came in 88-89 SUPERCHARGED MR2's. i bought it used off ebay about 3 years ago for $1100 for some reason. i had planned on putting it in my '93 corolla after i rebuilt the motor with the help of my cousin, but he decided that after we tore it apart that he wasnt up for helping me anymore. Ive gotten out of the whole "hoppin up your car" deal for the most part, so i have no desire to try and put it in. its just too big of a project. id rather spend my money on booze cause it pays off better.

since i bought the motor, i put about $600 into having my local car shop do some performance work on the cylinder head and block. i believe the head is ported and polished and the cylinders in the block were rough honed to get the deep scratches out of the cylinder walls... still needs to be smooth honed, which in turn means that the overall bore is larger.. so you need to get oversized piston rings.

I have also purchased some after market parts for it. i have a rare cusco oversized crank pully... i believe its the biggest one you can get raises psi from 8 to 15 or something. anyway i have 2 of them.. i got screwed over on ebay and the first one i bought only gave me the pully and not the belt or the tensioner and other parts i needed. i also bought a full gasket set. total... around another $600 i spent on those extras.

with how much money ive spent on that thing, i would think that you wouldnt need to spend all that much more to get it in your car and running. it would be so sweet to have a supercharger in a corolla. i decided to go with a supercharged motor rather than turbo because the power is always there and you dont have to worry about lag. i dont have an intercooler or piping for the motor, however.

total amount of money ive put into it:
motor- $1100
car shop- $600
2 cusco pullys- $500
gasket set- $50-100

anyone have any questions, please let me know. feel free to make an offer, you might be surprised.

IMHO, i would rather put the whole motor in... as it is, the GZE engine is a better choice to bolt in... i say go for the GZE swap...

the steeper valve angle of the f head is actually better for turbo/charge apps , some will argue , but ask any toyota tuning pro.

Does anyone know where I can get a super charger for my 4afe?
And I need to know the size of the stock fuel injectors.
