YAY!!! We're getting everything approved and ready to get moving! I am so excited! So is Nathan of course. Our cats...well, they won't have a say in the matter lol.

congrats! i cant wait to be a property owner myself granted im a long way away from that. i bet you guys got a hell of a deal to being that the housing market is in the pits.

It's 1,368 sq feet...just right for our first house! Single story too. 2 car garage and a nice sized lot for Vegas. We're happy with it. Lots of little cosmetic things to do to make it super livable, but it's definitely livable.

Wow. It's like a blank canvass ready to be painted. hehe Repainting and recarpeting come to mind. Oh, and I vote for a carbon fiber refrigerator and Microsoft Sync capabilities! I've always wanted to put in a half electric induction/half gas burner stove top with an industrial exhaust fan. I can't wait until I can buy my own house.

That looks VERY spacious! But then again, no furniture yet. But congrats on the purchase...

I remember mines 2 yrs ago...we r going to rent it out in a few months...there's already a family renting out the bottom portion...but we r currently looking for another house by the san mateo area...better schools for kids & I finally get some more sun, not as much as LA but at least it will be better than san francisco. Oh & I get 2 start work again.

i watch those house flipping and fixing shows every weekend on A&E and TLC and it is amazing what some paint and trim can do.

Very nice. You have the one thing I wish I could've had....a fireplace. All the houses that had them were too small or had all we wanted but too damned expensive, lol.

I've been in mine for about 5 years now. I can say that everyday you'll see something you're going to want to change, whether it's repainting a kitchen, tiling a floor or stripping out bathroom fixtures.

How's the backyard. Any pics of that? If you don't have a grill, you need one.

Well, one day about a year ago while Nathan was toying around with the GTS, some guy was moving out of the apartments and gave us a gas grill for free. Then as we were looking at the house, in the backyard there is a charcoal grill with a whole bag of charcoal and bottle of lighter fluid. Oh and some black widows under the cover.

Two grills and one house. So when is everyone invited for a big bbq blowout? Do you have a lawn in the back or is it a concrete/patio setup?

Well, when you go out of the sliding glass doors there is a nice sized concret slab then off to the right of it, it is a sidewalk all the way around the side of the house with the side gate. On the other side it's rocks and stuff. We wanna do a little grass, fake or real, for when we get a dog. Picking dog poop up from rocks is impossible...well not impossible, but difficult. Watch our luck the dog will hate grass and only want to poop on the rocks...the little shit.

Anyway I will be taking more pictures...you know when we get the keys. I told Nathan we had to take a picture by the SOLD sign because it's good luck. YAY!
