    Help! Help! Help!

    Ok so i just finished porting my intake manifold. but i dont know wut to use to take all the little metal shavings out of it? can i use some degreaser since the little shavings are in the oil and dirt that the intake manifold had? is it safe to use degreaser to clean an intake manifold?:confused:

    brake cleaner and a blow gun attachment for an air compressor are your friends. If you have access to a parts washer, that'd be ok too. Aerosol degreaser is fairly similar to aerosol brake cleaner anyway. The Fast Orange type stuff isn't. It'll leave a residue.

    thats exactly what I was going to say.. .:) ummm at work we use mopar brake cleaner but I guess its all about the same... probly cheaper to pick up at checkers aor whatever you have...

    parts cleaner is def the best way to go...but brake cleaner and blowing it out will work also
