We never get anything here. Everything we have is watered down and underpowered. I would seriously consider importing one.

No, it's the fact that Americans want an appliance, not a car. Toyota also thinks that those who want a performance oriented sedan will just look at the IS. Those are around $30-35k starting out, probably just as much as this car would be if it made it over.

Toyota's making a big mistake if they think they won't end up like Ford or GM in the next 5-7 years. Sure their quality is still better IMO, despite CR ratings, but they are producing boring vehicles that no one will want.

Honda's only marginally better. They are doing what Toyota should have continued with the Corolla XRS...producing a hot-motor 4 door compact. I've seen more 4dr. SIs n the road than 2dr. models and usually older folks or younger families driving them.

Take that SI away and what do you really have left? The s2000 is gone or will be soon I think.

It's nice looking, but too big IMO. Wonder what it sounds like.
