No more one wheeled burnouts here, she can spin both them tires and will freely rev to the 7K rev limiter making power the whole way up, and I have no idea what the top speed is, digital speedo.

I'm in the same boat, looking for a car, 2 fecks crashed into my corolla... although it's not total, they impaired it's driving to the point that I don't want anyone else driving it since it behaves rather erratically.... so I'm looking either a 2006 civic or 200-low tc

Right now if you try and get the JDM front its a pain in the ass, the rear is outrageously expensive.

Drives a lot better than my 8th and 9th gen IMO and has a lot more acceleration, I have a stick.

Reason why I didn't get a SI is that they require 93 octane and the gas mileage is not as good as my LX and the biggest thing is that it cost 4 grand more than what the insurance gave me for the Sentra.

Speed limit is more than 115 cause I have had her up to 120 once.

Why I got a sedan instead of a coupe: 1. I like having 4 doors. 2 and 3, No blue/stick coupes on the lot.

still a nice car, I just wish the hybrid had a bit more power to pick up speed when getting on the on ramps, the 110 combined HP feels underpowered for its size,(can't complain for the milage though) I know some companies make really small turbos to put on the hybrids but the cost to intall them is very high, since they are electronically controlled. but i do know the hybrids limit is 107 MPH with no load and 95 MPH with a full load, but it never sees anything past 65 ish if at that.

I don't like Civics all that much. The Mugen is nice. I never have driven one though either. So I suppose I can't really say anything negative about them.

they really are not bad cars, IMO is because they are highly accepted by the tuner market so some people such as myself think they are overrated, but with the amount of modifications out there you can build to your suit which is a good thing. The corolla is a bit more of a rarer car to work with especially the 98-02 models.
the civic is more sporty spirited and the corolla is more of a comfort car, its like M-B is luxury and BMW is sport luxury.
on our hybrid the steering feels too light and too sensitive. the speed sensitve steering is wierd for this particular car.at least the corolla feels more responsive and has a bit more feedback.

Didn't have engine probs with the Corolla, didn't want to spend anymore money on the car to get her to pass emissions, so I got a 06 Sentra and then 7 months and 16,162 miles and 1 drunk driver later she looked liked that.

Insurance only cut me a 12,000 check and after some talking with them they agreed to give me the full cost of the Sentra which was 17.000.

I went car shopping and wanted to get a TC or a Rabbit but neither dealerships around me wanted to work with me, so I headed to the parents house to get there opinion and in the process drove by a Honda dealer, I stopped in and test drove a Civic and really liked it a lot so I started talking to them and they where willing to work with me and the rest is history.

basicallly what I did when I sold the accord , but in my case i had too many problems with the tranny, since I couldn't get a corolla or camy because they did not have what she wanted, and the dealer was out of Prius' so the next thing was to get another accord but after the options she wanted she just went for a civic since the overall resale value in our area is higher than the accord.

that is why i drove my 88 volvo and the 98 rolla they were my beater cars, especially the volvo my "golden tank"

funny that a lot of people only like the Si. I'm the opposite. i wouldn't want the mediocre speed the Si brings and the heavily decreased gas mileage. My parents purchased an EX sedan with leather, GPS, all available options and dark tint. I ditch my S often to ride that around (weeks at a time), even moreso than the other cars they own. I see the sedan as a Great purchase and its usability (i know, not a word) is outstanding! I have a profound respect for good gas mileage, though, i must admit. and anyone who rides in it on club nights thinks its luxurious on the inside! (of course referring to ladies) so its not like its too extra regular of a ride, even though a lot of people own one. and the dependability... great!
