After about 10 dyno run (gay G-tech dyno), I found that the camcon didn't work. I think I messed up some wiring. Will need to take it apart again to double check.

It can control VVTi and A/F ratio.
You can change the intake cam timing from 1500rpm to 9000rpm. You can advance or retard the cam timing to gain some good number. :)

I wonder if a plug-n-play harness would work in our 01'-02'. What kind of driver seat do you have?

As for plug-n-play harness, they have it for 9th gen and matrix and celica and MR-S, but no 8th gen.
Oh wait..., I think auto celica GT harness will fit 8th gen auto, but don't know about manual.
Actually there are only 5 wires, I don't think the plug-n-play harness is necessary, unless you're stupid like me that messed it up. :(

It's just a cheapo after market seat. :D

I think I find the problem now.
I unplugged the afc, afc-cp, cam, cam-cp wires, just left the rpm+/-, GI, and ground connected. And start my car and the camcon works fine!

Now I know I mess up one (or more) of afc, afc-cp, cam, cam-cp wires. I'm sure I wired everything wire right. Maybe the connection is bad in one of the connectors that I used. Will keep you guys updated. :)

i wasnt aware that you could adjust the vvti in the engines. i know that the vvtL-i engines you could adjust when the lift kicks in, but im not too sure about the reg. 1zz engine. and before you go messing with your fuel mixture, do you have something to tune your engine with?

good luck with your install though!

    Thanks man :)

Yup, vvti is cool. You can change different cam angle in different rpm range. Unlike cam gear, you can only make a fixed angle for all the rpm.
I'm not gonna mess with the a/f ratio until i buy a wideband. I'll just tune the vvti for now.

Be careful with the a/f ratio. I did some good damage to my shit by screwing w/ the a/f ratio (that or it was one hell of a coincidence)...first test run w/ camcon installed the car started freaking out and fried my MAF sensor...now i have a 'fuel error' CEL and the car runs sluggish.

If i were you and you dont have an a/f gauge i'd keep it zerod out and just mess w/ the cam timing.

If I ever get something like this I am just going to pay SkyAce2004 to install it. a/f gauge is around 50-60 and the wideband sensor runs around 300 plus 15 bucks to have a bung welded to your exhuast. I have found a manufacteror that makes a/f ratio gauges for the stock sensor and so it would be CHEAPER, but I have heard it wouldnt work as good, though I have not tried it for myself so.

The a/f gauges for stock sensor is just for look, not useful at all.
Coz the stock sensor is just narrowband, you can't tune the A/F with it.

I think my camcon is defective, might need to buy a new one. :(

Ill sell it to ya for $325 shipped. Its gunna come with everything for installation except the exhaust sensor bung. But im pretty sure any exhaust shop you go to will have one for ya. This is pretty much what Im selling: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/xcart/product.php?productid=16240&cat=0&page=1 Everything in that kit except the connection box. You dont need it for just the A/F.

the digital A/F gauge I have does not cost $50, try doubling that at the LEAST for a used one. And any kind of A/F gauge that hooks up to your current o2 sensor is going to be a narrowband reading which isnt accurate for tuning your engine.
