    My 1J Swap completed Project

    Been a while since my last post. But the swap has been completed. Here are some pictures. Dr Tweak is the MAN ! ... and no he isn't pointing a GUN at me. LOL

    I'm taking the car to the local dyno next SAT. Dr Tweak predicts will be making around 300+ HP.

    I keep wondering why toyota gave the supra a dodo brown interior back in the days. Other than that, the car ish clean!

    Thanks guys for the compliments. I am getting it dyno here locally to get a base line run. And then when I go single turbo that will give me an idea of much $$ I will need to spend to reach my goal (450HP). Then back to phoenix garage so the good Dr can install and tune it at the same time. :)

    where u find the engine at and how much a swap like that run you as far as time and all together money wise
    i was told its not a bad idea for a 1j swap into an IS300
    Also i head about throwing a 2j head on it they call it a 1.5j i think
    anyone know anything about all that?
    also what kind of tranny is good for a 1j
    i know the V160 was the best stock for a 2j i am told
    that or a R154 or W58 i think
