I'm looking to purchase a used one or new for my 05 Corolla (if the price is considerably lower than the approximately 240 retail). Anyone know where I should look?

I'm also looking for 18 inch TRD wheels. I particularly like the models I saw at http://trdparts.jp/english/parts_wheel-sport.html but not sure if those can be applicable to my '05 Corolla. Any help on where to look would be greatly appreciated.

Aren't 18s a bit big for a corolla? I know 18s on the 98-02 is suicide. I'm not sure about the newer 03+ though.

Well, I'm not talking about appearance. I'm talking about driveablilty and practicality. What are the stock sizes of the wheels and tires? And what are the available upgraded upsizes available from the factory? I wouldn't go any bigger than that. Anything bigger could compromise wheel strength and ride quality when coupled with too thin of a tire.

I had 17" rims with a 40 series tire on my car. The traction and stabality of my car was greatly improved. Lower profile tire + stiffer sidewall = alot better grip. However, I did manage to loose alot of comfort in my ride. that stiff sidewall made me feel EVERY bump in the road. Its really up to the driver, Would you rather have the comfort, or the sportiness

^^ i think 9th gens have 15inch stocks. so an 18inch with maybe 40 prof tires would be horrible

You would rub like crazy. Plus too big of wheels = very heavy.
