    I was watching a little bit of the LeMans race in Long Beach yesterday on tv and there was a driver in there that was driving a silver Porsche GT2 or something like that. He was only 21. Unfortunately, he wiped out like 20 minutes into the race. But how in the world can you be 21 and be driving in the LeMans?? What does one have to do to get to that level??...not that I want to, but i'd just like to know...

    Heard of Lewis Hamilton? 22 year old rookie tied for the points lead in F1 right now. Even Alonso was pretty young when he first got into F1.

    I've seen a few whose connections were due to the money they had. Ultimately it takes serious cash to even get a foot in the door, especially when it comes to road racing. All the experience in the world won't get you any exposure if you don't have the cash to get that first ride on the track.
