Engine need help with installation

    need help with installation

    ok i dont get it, what is the ait grommet? air intake temp ok, which one is the grommet? how far do i push the 2.5"-3" nipple thing down on the pipe? does the enge of the filter need to be touching the pipe? which one is the pcv hose? and which hole do i put it into?[IMG]

    how far down does that go?

    you seem to be very confused boy :p
    and yea instructions are very bad in weapon R parts....

    but... a little "duh" and "ahh" fixes everything

    that plastic piece, the 3" to 3" silicone fitting and the air filter with the other silicone piece that you have mounted in the picture
    I got mine clamped on the tube VERY WELL and on the filter, and in the middle connection of those 2

    the part going INTO the filter is the part where you see both tubes in the inside, the other sides goes near the TB

    you gotta check for vacuum hose, and temp thingy....

    oh and more pictures would have been awesome

    sorry i took more pictures but i figured it out. i hope at least, cept i couldnt figure out how to replace this one hose(it goes back towards the firewall i can take pictures tomorrow) i kinda got it to fight but im stretching it out alot. only 1 thing was plugged into my stock airbox so i just hooked the tube up to that and into the WR i slapped that badge on my windows and gained 50HP! jk but ill take pics of it tomorrow

    whats it supposed to sound like? about 3k rpms i hear a loud rumble and it pleases my pants but i wouldnt say it sounded like a vacuum, maybe ill record it

    yep, its a hissing sound. turn on your AC at idle, you should be able to hear it better. as far as getting up into the higher RPMs, you should be able to hear the engine roaring a bit louder.
