I would suggest the TRD exhaust. I know there are others out there but I like the TRD one the best cause its not too loud or too low. then again, it all depends on what he wants to spend.

trd wont void his warranty...also the dealership might not work on his car if he gets borla...i know alot of people at the dealership i work at void their warranties by putting other parts in besides TRD or oem parts..i dunno why but sometimes they are stupid like that

Do a search. I'm sure you can find it all over the net.

I got the Tsudo axle back from ebay for 170 shipped about a year ago. It looks and sounds great. Recently, I've spotted the full cat back for like 200 shipped.

honestly id prefer to go with either the HKS hi Power , ARk full exhaust or the TopFuel Full exhaust <---those 2 cost a pretty penny though but have dyno proven to add 12whp some others to think about would be the greddy evo 2 or the Zpi Full exhaust

if he is looking for just sound then maybe the ebay ones would work, but other then that i would look into what konigrolla has said or also look into the magnaflow and trd.

    MovieSTAR:
as for warranty... the dealer must install the trd part for that portion of the car/part to be covered under warranty. if something happens, then the dealership must prove that the installed part if aftermarket caused the problem. dealerships can't straight void the cars warranty for a single part.

thats true. it must be a dealer installed option. otherwise they'll find a way to get around the warranty coverage.

one more thing, its not the dealer thats really tight about warranty coverage. toyota is really strict about warranty coverage. the reason why the dealer is really careful about what things to cover is because every problem the dealer covered under warranty that toyota rejects, the dealer has to pay for all that.

as for the trd exhaust, that is by far the best that i've heard on a tc.

I was thinking about that too. Or you can install the muffler further inside and have it tucked up before having a turn down tip.

Exactly just like that! Just spray the whole unit black and you're set.
