Hahaha......maybe the "my client" references scared him off.

I also pointed out that his argument is retarded.....if in fact its broken, its insured anyways through UPS.

And him asking for the VIN number is even more retarded.

    Not in those terms though

    Hahaha, thats awesome!

I'm sure everything will work out |-Goku-|, that guy sounds like he either he doesn't want it anymore, or he broke it himself, and doesn't want to fess up to it... either way, I don't think you have much to worry about... but definitely keep on letting us know what's going on :)

Ya, I know everything should work out fine. I just hate dealing with it. But at least my Lawyer(e_andree) has pretty much taken care of things. I will let you know what happens.

wow, I cant beleive this guy has taken it this far. If he simply would have taken the package to UPS he could have easily gotten his money back along with keeping the product (i think?). The ONLY reason I can think of needing a VIN number is if the radio has some kind of security code from when its disconnected from an electrical source. However, I highly doubt that is why he wants it. Keep up on your game man and dont give in. Fight it till the end, and even if you do go down, bring that scum bag down with you.
On a side note. This is why I NEVER keep funds in my paypal account. Incase some asshat wants to play games like this, there are no funds to give back to him. And ill be damned if paypal takes money from my bank account without authorization.

i guess you didnt have enough time. When I sell something on ebay, ill wait till the funds clear to paypal, and then the instant i get it, i transfer it to my bank account and I usually wait a day or 2 before I ship out the product. That way by the time i gets there, the money is already out of my paypal account and into my bank account.
I have been lucky so far though, ive never had anyone pull something like that on me. I did have one guy call me thanking me for a product i sold him though, that was pretty cool.

You might as well send them all the emails he sent you and advise them that you insured the product and the buyer should go to UPS. Also include the email where he said that the box was received damaged. Your agrument could be that the shipping company damaged the box and the dispute is being filed with the wrong person.

But make sure you stand your ground though.

Alright its been almost a year since this whole thing started, So far I have ended up paying back the 175 plus 8 for a paypal fee. This went to his credit card company and I have not seen my item at all. I contacted Paypal today and they said I needed to file a Police report for fraud. I did that at my City's police station and they said I also needed to at the Guy that I sent the Item tos' Police station which is Colorado Springs. So I called them and they said that they don't file police reports for that Issue and that they won't do anything about it. So I contact Boise Police department again and they said for me to contact paypal and give them the Report number. I called paypal and they told me to contact Visa to file a report with the. So I'm calling Visa now. I will update everyone when I get an answer.

This is becoming really redundant. I called Visa, and they told me that they needed the Bank from which the guys credit card came from, so I called Paypal back, and they said they couldn't provide that information, and they told me to tell visa that they need work with me on the issue. So I called Visa back and they said that once they have the Financial Institute which his credit card came from then they could move on. I called paypal back and in order for me to get that Information, I will have to File a Subpoena, I wonder if this will cost more then the item is actually worth. You'd think that with the guys first and last name that they could find the information. I even have the guys address. Anyone here live in Colorado Springs???

It's like a Catch 22. Since you have his name and address, you should just take him to small claims court.
