    07 Wrx Sti?

I am planning to get a fully-loaded 07 WRX STI (with white wheels).

Any thoughts? Anyone think there is a better alternative? I just can't get enough of the rumbling.

    White wheels = ricer. :p

If you're going to get an STi, get it in black, white, or blue with bronze or gold wheels. Anything else is just wrong. :D

STi needs gold wheels. It's a Subie thing. :)

white on white looks good but i hope you have alot of time to yourself cause you'll be spending that time cleaning the car cause its going to get dirty extremely fast...mainly the wheels.

i'm not a fan of the white wheels, either, but definitely go Subaru. when you go AWD in a sedan, you'll never turn back.

Unless you want to be raced by every ricer out there, pay a premium on insurance, and be afraid that your car is going to be stolen every minute buy a Legacy GT. Better yet, buy used, and save on what someone else lost on the really bad depreciation that Subaru's have.

Stage 2 on a GT is all you need.

Yea, I like a lot of what Laz said. I don't really like the new body style of the STi either, but the last gen looked good to me. they're very fast though!

Vibe, I bet the maintenance /basic services for the STI WRX will be a little more expensive but if the car makes you happy just get it. :D

are the wheels original bbs wheels poweder coated or painted white? i would stick to regular gold or silver bbs wheels. the white wheels actual hurt the value of the wheel and i have read bad things about them being powder coated or painted.

Have fun fixing the EVO,i'd just stick with the Subie if i were in you're shoes, personally i'd just get a used automobile than has excellent traction and well for me luxury such as a used RL or i can just wait for a while for a used Lexus GS 450 3.0 V6 AWD high 13's and 306 HP is good enough for me same with the RL but its a bit heavy.

Get an EVO VIII MR. You'll save a good bit of money, and they can be just as fast. You'll have more money for modifications. :D

I say stick with the STI. When it comes down to reliability, its better to have a good running car then no car at all. The evo afterall, is a Mitsu. Plus the WRX has the badass boxer engine and newer engine design. The 4G63 in the evo is rally proven but so is the WRX. I'm currently saving up to buy an STI as well.

The earlier 4G63's had problems. The one in the EVO has been proven over and over again. People broke the earlier ones by being stupid and pushing them to the limit daily. The EVO is a bulletproof car, and can be a beast if done right. Dont' get me wrong, I love Subaru, but I also love gas mileage. :D
I still say: EVO, FTMFW. :D

I didn't think Mitsu's reliability was a big factor. My uncle drives an Endeavor and he has not had a single problem and it's at almost 45k now. I believe that its those people who push it to the limit daily that gives Mitsu's a bad look in terms of reliability..

It's the people that just put whatever parts they want into it and don't understand how they work together that break the motors. Turbo motors can be very tough, but you have to be careful with what parts are on them.

Both are pretty neck in neck. It all comes down to the cost.
