If i remember correctly, TRD coilovers dont come with upper mounts (like tein SS). But a lot of people buy aftermarket mounts for the front for camber adjustability and to replace the stock rubber mount. You still have oem rubber mounts in the back.

here's mines that come with my zero2's

in reality they look more blue, my camera is being retarded.

and i said it before and i'll say it again, once you go coilover you will never go back to mismatched strut spring setups

I think I have to raise it a little bit. It looks sick but I'm having a hard time entering the drive way. I love the cornering improvement! Can't wait to try it out on the next autocross event.

Amen to that brother! I only had them on for 2 days and I'll never let go of these babies... Unless I get some Tein with EDFC. Haha

ive currently got both on the gts... if people just researched proper spring height and rate they would be happier. the allure of being able to adjust height wears off pretty quick when you find the sweet spot. i raced the gts for over 3 years and only adjusted my ride height once, up.

im not saying coilovers arent just as good... but for most people its just a fad they have to partake in and complete overkill. but whatever, to each their own...

I haven't adjusted my rears at all, the height came perfectly set from cusco. The fronts I havent touched for almost a year either. I have a few sets of standarized springs 5,7,8, and 10kg/mm for my own setup. My justification for getting these is I used to run TRD Japan "race" springs and even those only come in 3.2/3.0 kg/mm. Tein S comes in even lower spring rates.. Unless I went with a gc setup I could've never been able to get springs over 4kg/mm, and when running spring rates that much higher then stock I would've had no other option then koni as the AE92+ gens have a very limited choice in struts. Although a koni/gc setup is great, it would've ran me around 900 new and for not much more a one piece coilover setup could be purchased. And with my current setup I have the additional options like camber plates, spherical pillowball mounts all around and the ability to change height without preloading the springs.

i wasnt aware the newer gens had such poor aftermarket from the larger companies.

fyi... the GC coilovers use eibach, as does trd. you can order an eibach spring for those in any rate you might want, and you can order an eibach spring in almost any height and diameter (to match stock sizes). making any good struts work seems like itd be too much work when you could just spend extra money and get a whole assembly. point taken...

only in america. Aftermarket is great in Japan, malaysia and as you know in the PI. In japan you can get coilovers for the ae92/101/111 from almost any company; racing gear, kg/mm, tein, tanabe, cusco, silk road, etc. I have cusco because i have friends at bozz performance and i get cusco parts at cost.
