Here we go again with the black/white issue...

As some of you know. Barba from American Idol had some racy pics show up on the net. Some that you can even see her nipples. Others show her drinking although she's not 21.

You might also remember Frenchie. She was booted off American Idol for taking lingerie shots. People are now saying that the reason Frenchie got booted was because she's black. And Barba is only staying because she is white.

Once again, they have to jump on something..so why not the black and white issue. STUPID!

Now, the one thing I will agree with is that its not fair that they kicked Frenchie off, but kept Barba. I saw the pics that Frenchie took and the ones that Barba took and they seem the same to me. If producers are going to kick one contestant off for racy pics, then they should do the same with Barba. If they plan to keep Barba, then I think Frenchie is owed an apology of some sorts.

Frenchie definately had more potential then Barba cause Barba can't sing for shit. But thats just my opinion. I just don't get why it always has to be a black and white issue. What if Frenchie was white? They would of had to jump on the fact that it wasn't fair. So why not start it off in that sense...not bring race into it.

EDIT: I just read on nbc4.com that Frenchie doesn't think its a black/white issue. Its some activists in Cali who think she was booted because she was black. They are the ones that are flippin the script.

This is totally unfair. When they kicked Frenchie off, honestly, my immediate thoughts were because "she's black", but jokingly. But seriously, its just completely unfair and yes, ive seen both sets of photos and if anything, both should be approached similarly. Besides Antonella wont make it all the way through, lol...

I don't watch American Idol or anything but if that was the case then that's pretty messed up.

its silly of people to think that FOX of all channels would want to get wrapped up in a race issue. the only people that are up in arms are racist themselves.

Frenchie also believes that an apology to her from the producers of the show would be a great start.

The point still remains that there are pictures out there of both contestants (leaked or not) and one got kicked off and the other didn't. Alot of the girls on Idol are heated because alot of them feel this has turned into a popularity contest because of the pics being on the net.

I thought the big girl also had an criminal record that she didn't disclose(as required by the show) that also caused her to be removed, though I could have it confused with another of the contestants. I never watch the show, I just hear little bits o' drama from the TV news programs.

I get so sick of whites who consistently complain about blacks pulling the race card. it annoys the fuck outta me.

I think that was someone else. There were a few of them who didn't disclose prior criminal records..lol.

and im sick of unoriginal, baseless, tasteless comments from anyone...

I get all those no talent assclowns confused. I mean hell, they've been through the same talent pool something like 6 times already, right? If they didn't want them the first time, why do they take them the 5th or 6th time?

These folks on American Idol are attention whores anyway. Why expect anything less than half nude pics and racist accusations? They get them what they want. Another 15 minutes of fame, TV airtime, name in the paper....attention to feed the need of an attention whore.

I'm so sick about that race card....PERIOD!

As I could list off a myriad of events off the top of my head where whites have brought up isolated incidents where blacks have pulled the race card and complained insistently about it. The thing is, when whites pull the race card, and they do, I don't consistently bring up every isolated instance. I'm not saying pulling the race card is warranted, most the time it's not, but this, what I being done in this forum, is a consistent bashing on blacks complaining about race, slave reparations, the white man holding them down, and other things. Yes, it is not a necessary thing to do, and is ignoble, but it is also an isolated incident: the same as it is when I read or experience whites partake in ignoble, unnecessary acts of racism or pullings of the race card immorally. Yet, in these instances I have not created or seen created 6 or more threads discussing these occurences in the past 2 months.

All I have to say is.....sparkling wiggles, that is all.
