I'd say the STI'ness would trickle out of the subaru vehicles if Toyota took control. Why have sports cars when you can have grocery getters?

Yeah unfortunately I have to agree. Toyota has a good thing going. Maybe a few small things could come down, but nothing big. More than likely, Toyota will just reap the profit from Subaru as is with little changes to either line.

Dont count on it. Dont count on any sports cars. If they do buy out Fuji, then Im pretty sure they would leave the line-up untouched. That or start sharing platforms.

im pretty sure you guys are confused.
the title should state... "New law opens path for Toyota FINANCIAL takeover of Subaru PARENT COMPANY "
the automotive aspect is the only thing keeping it from happening currently, not the basis for the purchase.
