So yea, I was reading my other forum and love this thread. I just started reading it but even after a couple of pages, its so friggin interesting. Contains a little nursing lingo. I can say that after doing clinicals at a local hospital several times, I am convinced there is definately an afterlife because i've been on the floor when a few people died. Its a common occurance, people dying. I remember walking into an elderly patients room once and they were fine and happy and their sister or something was with them visiting early that morning and near the time my clinicals were over, she just kinda died. But i've talked to nurses and hospice workers that say that many people "see" something before they go.

nice, if she's got any stories post them up dude.... I've always been curious of the supernatural and stuff of this sort. I watch GhostHunters on wednesdays on Sci-Fi and man it's an awesome show, wish I could tag along with those dudes man.

at work, supposedly the floor where our hardware office is located has a few ghosts roaming the halls. i've heard doors slam on Sundays when i'm down here by myself, but i haven't stuck my head out to see if anyone's actually out there.

Chris has a ghost that came with his house...and i've actually seen her. for that matter, so have about a dozen other people. most of them haven't been warned ahead of time. he can't get her on film and she won't give him any sounds on a tape, however, so we can't PROVE she exists...we just see her periodically.

before i started dating Chris, i would have agreed with you...but i don't do drugs, i very VERY rarely drink, and i can't explain what i've experienced other than i know what i've seen/felt/heard.

i wouldn't expect anyone to believe me until they've been in his house long enough to see her.

Woo ok, guess I may be flamed for this. Not pushing anything but stating my opinion here.

This book I read says that the dead have no part in anything. I do not believe that they would walk around or come back and give a message or any of that. I do believe in the Devil and I do believe he has "minions', the tens and tens of thousands of angels that supposedly fell with him.

I read an interesting book once called Demons, the answer book. Although I cannot verify anything (of course, right? ) It sheds some interesting light. As in Familiars: devil spirits that act like your dead loved ones to throw your believing off track or to get you to believe the wrong things. I mean hell if my dead grandfather came back to tell me this then it must be true.

Strange I guess, but it makes sense to me to 'explain' ghosts. Kind of equally as scary though. lol So it gives no real comfort really. LOL

how are they scary? if they truly do exist, they can't hurt you.

^I dunno bout that. If theyre capable of throwing stuff across the room, closing doors, etc, then they would be capable of physically touching people. So im sure they could hurt you if they wanted to.

I believe you. These people who are family friends of ours lived in the heritage rich old old oil town of Sapulpa. They had just came here from the Philippines and was looking for a cheap place to live so they found a really nice house in this town. When asked why it was so cheap, the realtor told him its been on the market on and off a bunch of time without any further explanation. Anyways, he found out there were ghosts or something running around his house even though he never actually saw them. Well my dad and a bunch of my uncles went over to his house in the garage one day, no one else home or inside, and they were about to start drinkin and eat "lechon" (filipinos, you know, lol). Then the stereo in their living room came on. They all walked in to check what was goin on and they just turned the stereo off and came back. A few minutes later it came back on again. So he turned off the surge protector and unplugged it. A few minutes later, they hear something super super loud. They walk inside and the stereo was turned up all the way, plugged back in, surge protector switched back on.....He told my uncles that sometimes he'd be sleeping and his blankets would get ripped off. And that he'd be sitting in the living room and people would knock on the front and back door and no one would be there. He eventually moved out and found a place near us..

absolute bs... tell them to calm down with the alchy.
